Harbinger raised US$240 million in Series D funding. Tiger Global, Capricorn's Technology Impact Fund, and Ridgeline co-led the round. The company builds electrified platforms for trucks, power systems, and defense applications.

Investor backing

Fidelity Management & Research Company, Squarepoint Capital, and Xantium also participated. Existing backers Maniv, Greycroft, and others joined as well. The round brought Harbinger's total funding since 2021 to more than US$650 million.

Company focus

Harbinger engineers electrification systems across mobility, energy, autonomy, and defense. It uses vertical integration to manage product development, performance, cost, and scale. The company has operated since 2021 and is based in Garden Grove, California.

Customer momentum

FedEx recently ordered 2,000 all-electric Harbinger trucks valued at more than US$300 million. FedEx Senior Vice President of Safety and Transportation Paul Melander joined Harbinger's board. His appointment supports a focus on driver safety, delivery quality, and customer execution.

The new capital will support growth across commercial vehicles, energy storage, power generation, autonomy software, and defense. It will also fund increased manufacturing capacity for Harbinger's medium-duty platform. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley acted as placement agents for the financing.
