Green Voltis raised €13.5 million in Series A funding. Lochpine Capital was the sole investor. The Stockholm-based company uses AI to operate and trade battery storage across European power markets.
Use of funds
The company will use the capital to expand R&D on Aether AI and Chronos. It also plans to grow in key European markets. Part of the funding will build out its Power-to-Compute business.
Operating scale
Green Voltis has more than 1.2 GWh of battery storage under contract and in operation. It has market access in place or underway in 10 European countries. The company says its assets have consistently outperformed the Clean Horizon index.
Trading and grid tools
Chronos controls battery sites, is certified against grid codes, and supports grid-forming operation. Aether AI forecasts prices and stacks revenue across day-ahead, intraday, and balancing markets. The company also offers revenue sharing, tolling, and revenue floor structures to support project finance.
Green Voltis is building a Power-to-Compute pipeline of about 120 MW of powered land in the Nordics. It plans to partner with compute operators to develop grid-friendly data centers. The company says this unit aims to help compute get power sooner.
