GetVocal AI, a Paris-headquartered startup specializing in enterprise AI agents for customer operations, has secured a $26 million Series A round. The company positions itself as a bridge between automation and human oversight, aiming to make AI-driven customer conversations more transparent and accountable. With this new capital, GetVocal is preparing to accelerate product development, expand across Europe, and grow its international team.

Funding Round and Investors

The $26m Series A was led by Creandum, with participation from Elaia and Speedinvest, adding to earlier backing and bringing GetVocal’s total funding to about $30m. The company has also attracted a group of angel investors, including industry figures such as Corinne Ripoche, Tim Sadler, Alexandre Valenscak, and Tom Krüger. GetVocal’s leadership, headed by CEO and cofounder Roy Moussa alongside cofounder Antonin Bertin and early builder Sebastião Zaragoza, views this round as a key inflection point in the company’s growth journey.

Building Trust in Enterprise AI

GetVocal’s mission is built around restoring trust in AI agents for large enterprises, a segment where many pilots fail to deliver financial returns. Moussa cites research from the MIT Media Lab indicating that the vast majority of companies struggle to extract real value from AI initiatives because of gaps in skills, processes, and governance. GetVocal aims to place its customers in the successful minority by combining AI with clear accountability, auditable logic, and human-controlled workflows.

Product Capabilities and Differentiation

Unlike fully autonomous systems, GetVocal focuses on hybrid human-AI agents that keep human staff in control of critical decisions. The platform combines deterministic, protocol-following logic with large language models, enabling agents to adapt to complex conversations while still following strict rules and compliance frameworks. These agents can be deployed across different stages of the customer journey, from onboarding and support to retention, with an architecture designed to learn from outcomes, sentiment, and intent without leaving blind spots.

Customer Traction and Results

GetVocal currently operates with a team of around 60 people and serves customers in 23 markets, with particularly strong adoption in France and Portugal. The startup already works with recognized brands such as Vodafone, Glovo, Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, Nicomatic, and Capita, and is running a pilot with Deutsche Telekom. According to Bruno Machado, senior operations manager at Glovo, deploying GetVocal has helped deliver a fivefold increase in uptime and a 35 percent uplift in deflection within weeks, supporting faster growth and better reliability for users.

With fresh capital and a growing customer base, GetVocal is positioning itself as a European contender in the increasingly crowded AI agent market. The company plans to channel the funding into its Agent Control Center, deepen its product roadmap, and expand hiring across Europe to meet rising demand for trustworthy AI in customer operations. As enterprises continue to test AI at scale, GetVocal aims to distinguish itself by proving that automation can be both efficient and transparent when humans remain firmly in the loop.
