Divest has launched Divest Private Banking, a new version of its app. The fintech helps people and businesses receive, hold, convert, and move money across currencies. It reports more than 200,000 users.

Launch timing and demand

The product arrives ahead of the December holiday travel season. Nigerians living abroad often lose money to card conversion charges and street exchange rates. Diaspora remittances to Nigeria reached US$21.8 billion in 2025.

Who it serves

The app is built for returnees, freelancers, remote workers, families, and business owners. Holiday travelers can fund foreign currency accounts before flying home. Freelancers can receive client payments directly in USD, GBP, or EUR.

What the app offers

Each currency account has its own receiving details. Users can exchange currencies with low fees and send money to Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa within seconds. They can also receive money from more than 100 platforms, including Payoneer, Deel, and PayPal.

Divest Private Banking is available now on the App Store and Google Play. Users can create USD, GBP, and EUR accounts after completing KYC. Payouts to more than 20 additional countries are planned next.
