Conlio raised €6.4 million in a funding round led by Piton Capital. The startup builds AI software that verifies freight documents before payment. Investors including Haufe Group Ventures, WaVe-X, and F-LOG Ventures participated.
Funding details
Existing backers System. One, Puzzle Ventures, Booom Ventures, and Yellow also joined the round. Conlio plans to expand across Europe with the new capital. The company will keep building its financial operations layer for freight.
Company context
Conlio is led by founder and CEO Dr. Claudio Consul. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Product at Sennder. The company signed ten paying customers in Germany, the UK, Spain, and Denmark in its first ten months of selling.
How the platform works
The platform reads carrier invoices, CMRs, proofs of delivery, pallet notes, and damage reports. It checks those documents against the transport order and agreed rates. When everything matches, the invoice moves to payment without manual review.
Conlio reports it automates more than 90% of freight document checks for customers. It also identifies overpayments and missed revenue during reconciliation. Freight forwarders can contact the company at conlio.com.
