Build Labs has launched Is My App Slop, an auditing tool for AI-coded apps and websites. The venture is led by Kathryn Finney, a two-time exited founder and investor. Founders can use the tool to spot common problems before they spend money.

What the tool checks

The audit catches issues such as failed forms, broken buttons, generic AI design, and pages that confuse first-time visitors. It also gives a conversion-focused view of live landing pages. The report ranks findings by priority so first-time builders know where to start.

Build Labs background

Build Labs makes products that help people start, launch, and grow a business. The company grew from lessons in Finney's Wall Street Journal bestselling book Build the Damn Thing. Finney is also managing partner of the venture capital firm Genius Guild.

Scoring and pricing

Users can get a free audit with a score across six product dimensions. The dimensions cover clarity, craft and design integrity, trust, usability, mobile access, and conversion. A detailed report with fix prompts costs US$27 as a one-time payment and requires no subscription.

Founders can get a free audit at ismyappslop.com. Build Labs also offers the BUILD Sprint, a 90-minute live session. Participants leave with an idea, a name, a brand, and an MVP.
