Brava raised US$15 million in Seed funding led by F2 Venture Capital and Pitango. The security operations platform came out of stealth with the announcement. Angel investors from Anthropic, Microsoft, and Check Point also participated.
What Brava does
Brava models attacker behavior without executing attacks. It generates the exact telemetry an attack would leave in a customer environment. The system also tests each detection rule against the attack it was written for and surfaces silent rules.
Company context
Brava already works with Fortune 100 companies across retail, energy, and hospitality. It processes 2.4 trillion events each day across customer environments. The company reports thousands of detections proven daily.
The platform
The platform includes an investigation agent called Aquarium. Aquarium answers plain English questions and searches the SIEM, archived logs, EDR, and cloud audit trails. Brava also routes needed events to the SIEM and stores the rest at lower cost, cutting SIEM cost by 65 to 85%.
The new funding will support technology development and growth across North America. That expansion includes financial services, government, and energy sectors. Brava is also hiring.
