At the core of the launch is Docs AI, a rebuilt assistant capable of planning, writing, and building within any document. Unlike static documents, Superhuman Docs are interactive, featuring elements like tables, formulas, and live data connections. Users can now employ plain language prompts to generate drafted content, create structured tables, and even resolve comments, making the AI a direct participant in the collaborative process.
This new generation of AI capabilities allows teams to build custom, interactive views and tools directly from their data. The system can pull information from the web, offer inline feedback, and suggest next steps based on the document's context. This integration ensures that AI-generated work is immediately available for the entire team to edit, refine, and build upon together in a shared space.
Advanced Customization and Data Management
Superhuman is also introducing AI views in a private beta, enabling users to create custom applications on top of their data without needing developer skills. To support these advanced features, the company is launching Superhuman Databases, a new product for managing structured data at an enterprise scale. Currently in private beta, it supports up to one million rows per database, allowing teams to centralize large datasets. Superhuman is also ensuring broad compatibility through its new Multi-Client Platform (MCP). This feature allows popular AI clients like ChatGPT and Claude to connect to Superhuman Docs with a single click. This integration enables these tools to read and write to documents and tables in real-time, extending the platform's functionality across the AI ecosystem.
The launch is complemented by new native desktop and mobile applications for macOS, iOS, and Android, offering a more responsive and streamlined user experience. Access to Superhuman Docs will begin rolling out immediately to all existing Coda customers and new Superhuman suite users. Existing Coda documents will automatically transition to Superhuman Docs, granting users access to the new AI-powered capabilities.
