The agreement will see Yadea supply electric motorcycles and related EV products tailored to Spiro's markets across Africa. Spiro operates an integrated electric mobility ecosystem and battery-swapping network in seven countries, allowing riders to exchange depleted batteries for fully charged units within minutes. Yadea, founded in China, has sold more than 100 million vehicles in over 100 countries and operates 10 exclusive production facilities globally, supported by more than 2,000 patents. Together, the companies aim to serve millions of fleet operators, logistics providers and commuters in Africa's fastest-growing mobility markets.
Supply Agreement and Custom Vehicle Development
Under the agreement, Yadea will supply electric motorcycles and related EV products designed for Spiro's expanding regional operations. Spiro will integrate these vehicles into its proprietary battery-swapping and energy infrastructure across its network. The partners will also co-develop customised two-wheeler platforms engineered specifically for local road conditions and commercial utility in Africa.
