Ravical, an AI platform for accounting and tax firms, has raised a $17 million Seed round. MMC Ventures led the round. The company helps firms apply their best people's expertise through AI.
Investor backing
Existing investors Lakestar and Pitchdrive joined the round. New investor Shapers also participated. The new funding brings Ravical's total raised to $25 million.
Company background
Ravical was founded in 2025 and is based in Ghent and London. The founders are Joris Van Der Gucht, Ken Bastiaensen, and Benjamin Vandermarliere. Van Der Gucht previously co-founded Silverfin, a cloud platform used by more than 1,000 accounting firms.
What the platform does
Ravical captures how a firm's best people judge, advise, and deliver work. AI then applies that approach across every client. More than 100 accounting firms across Europe already build on the platform.
The company will use the funding to strengthen its position in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. It will also continue its rollout across the rest of Europe. Ravical plans to enter the US as well.
