Auriga Partners has secured €80 million for Auriga Cyber Ventures II, its second fund dedicated to cybersecurity. The firm is targeting a final size of €100 million with a hard cap of €120 million. The vehicle will back early-stage European cybersecurity startups.
Fund parameters
The fund will invest from Pre-Seed to Series A. Initial tickets range from €500,000 to €5 million. Auriga plans minority equity positions and will reserve about half of its capital for follow-ons.
Initial portfolio
The fund has already backed Finovox, Fleuret, Mankinds, and Nextident. The startups cover document fraud prevention, automated penetration testing, AI auditing, and AI agent security. Auriga is considering two to three more deals by the end of 2026.
Firm track record
Auriga launched its first cybersecurity fund of €55 million in 2022. The firm has evaluated more than 2,000 companies in the sector since then. Its first fund has 40% exposure to AI-related technologies and 32% to defense applications.
The new fund aims to support around 30 European startups. It will focus on areas such as AI security, identity protection, and data security. Auriga also provides portfolio companies with access to investors, entrepreneurs, and cybersecurity experts.
