Dalet Labs raised $7 million in a Pre-Seed round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners. SV Angel and angel investors joined the financing. The company also launched Scene, an AI-powered shopping app built around visual product discovery.

Funding so far

The Pre-Seed round closed in late 2025, before the product roadmap was complete. Omer Bar-Tal founded Dalet Labs in 2025 after leaving Runway. The company plans to use the capital to hire more engineers and researchers.

Founder background

Omer Bar-Tal brings research experience in computer vision and AI-generated media. His work includes photorealistic video editing and training foundational video models. He also led applied research teams and launched products.

Inside the app

Scene shows a feed of AI-generated images that feature real products. Shoppers can tap an item, save it, add it to a cart, and complete a purchase. The app covers fashion, home decor, and sporting goods.

The app is currently invite-only on the US Apple App Store. Dalet Labs plans to use influencer marketing and holiday discount vouchers to attract early users. It will also rely on affiliate marketing for early revenue.
