Peppermint Robotics has raised ₹1 billion, approximately US$10.5 million, in a Pre-Series B round. The investment was led by pi Ventures and Crane Venture Partners, with participation from Asiana Fund. The Pune- and Austin-based company builds autonomous cleaning robots.
Funding so far
The round combines primary capital and secondary share transactions. Peppermint previously raised ₹340 million in a Series A round in April 2025. The company said revenue doubled last year and grew nearly sixfold between FY24 and FY26.
Global footprint
Peppermint was founded in 2019 at SINE, IIT Bombay. It now operates in nine countries, with the US as its largest market. Its robots are deployed in factories, hospitals, airports, malls, warehouses, hotels, and universities.
Product and technology
The company develops its hardware, software, and perception systems in-house. Assembly operations are based in Pune. One cleanroom robot has passed EU GMP qualification testing at a global pharmaceutical company.
Peppermint plans to expand its portfolio of floor-cleaning and material-handling robots. It will set up a North American assembly line in the coming months. The company also aims to strengthen hiring and expand sales in the US, Asia, and Europe.
