Bengaluru-based Paar Autonomy has raised ₹100 million in funding led by AdvantEdge Founders. The deep-tech defense startup builds camera systems and AI software for drones and other unmanned defense platforms. The fresh capital will support expanded production and new navigation technology.

Funding so far

Paar Autonomy had earlier raised ₹35 million in a Pre-Seed round led by Venture Catalysts. That funding helped set up its first manufacturing line and deliver pilot units. The latest round is roughly three times larger than that amount.

Company and customers

Paar Autonomy was founded in June 2024 by Vignesh Sivaram Jayaraman. It serves unmanned aerial, ground, and maritime vehicles. Its primary customers are in defense, with civilian uses in industrial inspection, infrastructure monitoring, and disaster response.

The Sentinel lineup

The startup sells products under the Sentinel series. The lineup includes Sentinel 1, Sentinel 2, and several Sentinel Nano variants. These camera payloads support border surveillance, tactical tracking, and operations where GPS signals are denied.

Paar Autonomy plans to scale production of AI-powered camera systems. It will also develop navigation technology for drones operating without GPS. Its systems are designed to retrofit existing aerial, ground, and sea vehicles.
