Medication insurance startup Omni has closed a new funding round. The investment was led by ACNext and included existing investors GreenRock and Enseada. The company has now raised a total of R$ 30 million across three rounds.

Investor background

Lead investor ACNext is a venture capital firm founded by former Accenture executives. GreenRock is backed by the founding families of the Salomão Zoppi laboratory. Enseada is the family office of the Larragoiti family, founders of SulAmérica.

Company background

Omni was founded in 2024 by Fernando Domingues, a co-founder of telemedicine company Conexa Saúde. The startup currently serves over 70 clients, including Azul, Light, and MetLife. These clients represent a total of 350,000 covered individuals.

How the service works

Employers and health plan operators pay Omni a monthly fee per person. Employees use an app to get prescriptions approved and pay for medication using an Omni Pix transfer. The company's revenue comes from managing risk and preventing fraud, not from medication sales.

Omni plans to use the new capital for an aggressive expansion plan. It aims to double its base of covered lives by the end of next year. The company projects reaching R$ 50 million in revenue and achieving breakeven by the end of 2027.
