MotorSense, an AI-based motor failure prediction solution, launched as an independent corporation on November 1. The business previously operated within document AI company ePapyrus. It serves more than 250 industrial sites with about 7,000 sensors.

Independent launch

Development began in 2016 as a new business. It became an internal business division in 2017. The new corporation keeps the MotorSense name and its existing staff.

Industry adoption

MotorSense is led by CEO Park Jong-sik. The solution is used in food, automotive, electronics, and semiconductor industries. It applies to any rotating machine that produces vibration.

How the system works

Small wireless sensors attached to equipment automatically measure vibration data. AI algorithms analyze the data and detect abnormal signs in real time. The system sends SMS and email alerts and provides failure action guides.

Existing operations will continue under the new corporation. Customers can check equipment status on a monitoring platform from PCs and mobile devices. The platform provides intuitive status guidance and detailed data visualization.
