Mormaii and technology company LifesHub launched a connected health device line in Brazil. The partners invested R$3.5 million in the project. The lineup includes a smart ring priced at R$1,179 and a bracelet priced at R$895.

What the devices track

The ring and bracelet work without screens. They send data to an app that tracks sleep, activity, and recovery. The ring also notes temperature changes and includes a menstrual calendar.

How the project was built

The work took about two years and involved around 35 professionals. The sensors are imported, but the software and data platform are Brazilian. LifesHub developed the software exclusively for Mormaii.

Sales and business model

Consumers pay once for the devices and face no monthly fee. Companies and clinics can license the platform with equipment included. Initial sales will focus on digital channels.

The companies plan to expand the connected product line. A smart scale may be added to the platform later. Their long-term goal is to reach 10 million Brazilians without a set deadline.
