MangoBoost signed a memorandum of understanding with AMD and FuriosaAI. The companies will explore next-generation open, heterogeneous AI infrastructure. The systems will combine CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and DPUs.
Collaboration scope
The agreement was signed at AMD Advancing AI Seoul 2026 and AI DevDay Seoul 2026. The partners will validate designs that use AMD CPUs and GPUs, FuriosaAI NPUs, and MangoBoost DPU technology and system software. The infrastructure is meant to support diverse AI workloads.
Company context
MangoBoost is a full-stack AI infrastructure company led by CEO Jangwoo Kim. The company develops DPU, inference software, server, and storage products. It is also building the Korea-based Mango AI Factory.
AI factory and platform
Mango AI Factory will run on AMD Instinct GPUs and include BoostX DPU, LLMBoost, Alphonso servers, and Kesar storage. MangoBoost also demonstrated Mango Inference, a serverless AI inference platform. The service provides API access to open-weight AI models without requiring users to manage GPU infrastructure.
The partners target 2027 for the first hybrid reference infrastructure in Seoul. Mango AI Factory is planned for the first half of 2027. MangoBoost plans to expand AI infrastructure and inference services in the Americas, Japan, and the Middle East.
