LO:TECH, a London-based capital markets firm, has raised US$12 million in a Series A round led by MMC. The company builds trading infrastructure for markets that operate around the clock. Its technology supports trading and liquidity services across multiple asset classes.

Investor participation

Existing investors Faction and 13 Books Capital participated in the round alongside Atka. Both Faction and 13 Books Capital previously led funding rounds for the company. According to MMC, LO:TECH recorded triple-digit revenue growth over the past year despite challenging cryptocurrency market conditions.

Company background

LO:TECH was founded by Tim Meggs, Marcus Horsley, and Alex Williams. Meggs serves as CEO, while Horsley serves as CTO. The company reports serving more than 50 institutional clients through market making, market data, and execution services.

New execution services

LO:TECH launched its institutional execution services on November 2, 2026. The offering uses its trading infrastructure to connect clients with multiple trading venues and asset classes. It supports trading across traditional financial markets, digital assets, and prediction markets.

LO:TECH plans to use the funding to expand into the US and Asia-Pacific, with New York and Singapore among its target locations. The company will also grow its execution services for institutional clients. It intends to seek regulatory authorization in new markets and is exploring licensing options in the US.
