Israeli startup 42AI has come out of stealth with $62.5 million in seed funding. The company builds a behavioral world model designed to predict how people may act in new situations. It is initially running the system with a handful of financial brokerages.
Funding so far
The capital was accumulated over three years. It came from the founders and Infinity Group, which was founded by Amir Gal-Or. 42AI said the total was not entirely outside capital.
Brokerage customers
The company is working with 10 large brokerages. It helps them manage liquidity, margin requirements, and hedging exposure. 42AI said one brokerage generated about $30 million in additional value through dynamic hedging.
How the model works
The system converts behavioral observations into mathematical trait representations. It draws on support calls, sentiment, voice, and trading activity. A transformer-based model then estimates the probability of different decisions.
The company plans to raise additional funding. It is also exploring uses in gaming, fraud prevention, and cybersecurity. Longer term, it wants to help robots and AI agents understand people.
