Liberis and Qred completed their merger after receiving approval from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. The combined group serves more than 60,000 small businesses across 17 countries. It also has access to approximately 11.5 million addressable merchants.

Leadership and brand plans

Emil Sunvisson becomes Group CEO of the combined business. Rob Fairfield becomes Deputy CEO. Both brands and existing customer relationships continue as they do today.

Two routes to finance

Qred holds a full banking license granted by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. The bank operates in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Liberis distributes financing through more than 30 partners, including Deliveroo, Vagaro, and Nexi.

What small businesses get

Liberis offers business funding from $500 to more than $1 million. Pricing is transparent and payments align with business performance. Qred provides automated, data-driven lending for small businesses that traditional banks often overlook.

Qred has served more than 80,000 businesses to date. Liberis's December 2025 Impact Report found that 76% of surveyed merchants had been rejected by traditional lenders at least once before. The group will share product development and brand plans as they are finalized.
