Investable.Africa has launched an open beta platform to connect African startups with investors. The platform includes a searchable database of more than 4,000 investing firms. Founders from all 54 African countries can use it to find capital.

What founders get

Founders can build profiles covering their problem, solution, traction, team, and current round. The company checks each profile before it goes live. They can also connect Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI assistant to shortlist firms and draft outreach.

What investors get

Investors use the platform for free after a vetting process. They can filter startups by region, country, sector, stage, round type, and raise size. They can also request data rooms and follow startups for email updates.

Origins and pricing

Investable.Africa was founded by Craig McLeod, who also runs BoxCommerce. McLeod ran a venture capital WhatsApp group for 10 years before the launch. Founders can list a profile for US$99 per month or US$299 per year.

The open beta began on October 28, 2026. Investable.Africa takes no share of any raise. It does not handle investment money.
