Hang Ten Systems, an enterprise AI services firm, has secured an additional $53 million in seed funding led by Xora, a venture fund backed by Temasek. The new capital brings the company’s total funding to $85 million, with participation from Mayfield and Aramco Ventures. The announcement, made on September 16, 2026, also confirmed that Yahoo co-founder Jerry Yang has joined the company’s board of directors.
Rapid Funding Momentum
The two seed rounds closed five weeks apart, underscoring strong momentum for the Menlo Park-based company. During that short period, Hang Ten signed several multi-million-dollar contracts across advisory and development engagements with global enterprises. Delivery is already underway for several projects and has been successfully completed for a few.
Enterprise AI Services Model
Hang Ten provides advisory, transformation, and applied AI services to large enterprises. The company operates through a native AI delivery model built on agentic code generation, a reusable skills library, and domain expertise. This model enables it to build, change, and run enterprise software at lower cost and on shorter timelines than traditional systems integration.
Investor Confidence and Board Addition
Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo and founding partner of AME Cloud Ventures, has joined the company’s board of directors. Other investors include Lip-Bu Tan, chief executive officer of Intel, and Sanjay Mehrotra, chairman and chief executive officer of Micron Technology. Their participation signals strong industry confidence in Hang Ten’s approach to enterprise AI implementation.
Planned Use of Funds
Hang Ten plans to use the fresh funding to expand delivery capacity for client engagements that are already underway. The company will also grow its engineering and consulting organization to meet rising demand. In addition, the capital will support continued development of its platform, infrastructure, and reusable agentic skills library.
Early Customer Traction
Hang Ten is working with Aramco on applications supporting operations across multiple functions. Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy is also among the enterprises collaborating with the company. Vinod Philip, chief executive officer of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, said the quality and speed of delivery impressed his team and led them to widen the scope of work.
Investor Perspectives
Phil Inagaki, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Xora, said enterprise technology has been slow to translate AI into real economic value. He explained that the bottleneck is implementation, which requires secure, economical, and fast deployment. Inagaki added that Hang Ten’s team has built and operated such systems from the inside and is delivering value faster with smaller teams.
Leadership Outlook
Mahdi Aladel, chief executive officer of Aramco Ventures, said the more closely his organization examines Hang Ten’s approach, the more functions and use cases it finds across its own operations. Dr. Vishal Sikka, founder and chief executive officer of Hang Ten Systems, said AI can be a powerful amplifier but must be paired with reliability for enterprise use. He expressed gratitude for the partnership with Xora and Temasek, which opens the door to Singapore, Southeast Asia, and global markets.
The additional $53 million investment positions Hang Ten Systems to accelerate enterprise AI adoption across essential industries. With a growing client base, board-level support from Jerry Yang, and backing from Xora, Mayfield, and Aramco Ventures, the company is expanding its delivery and engineering capacity. Its rapid contract momentum suggests that large enterprises are increasingly looking for practical AI implementation partners.
