Foresight, an AI platform for large-scale infrastructure, has secured $25 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Macquarie Capital Venture Capital with participation from Creandum, ISAI Build, and others. This capital injection will help the company address the critical execution challenges facing complex projects amid a global infrastructure boom.

Addressing the Infrastructure Execution Gap

A historic level of investment is currently flowing into sectors like AI infrastructure, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Despite this capital influx, independent research shows nearly 90 percent of large projects are delivered late or over budget. This highlights a growing execution gap where the primary constraint is no longer funding but the ability to deliver on time.

According to Co-Founder Dr. Atif Ansar, these delays are systemic rather than being caused by unpredictable events. They stem from small, compounding execution failures and inherent human biases in planning and decision-making. Traditional project management tools were not designed to handle the scale and complexity of today's interdependent global programs.

A Predictive Approach to Project Delivery

Foresight was developed to close this execution gap with its Predictive Project Delivery platform. Operating as a unified AI control system, it establishes reliable baseline schedules in days instead of months. The platform continuously validates real-world progress against plans and forecasts risks early enough for decisive intervention.

Customers using the platform report significant improvements, including a twofold increase in the accuracy of completion forecasts. The system has also helped reduce project overruns by 30 percent by identifying delay drivers before they escalate. This provides owners with portfolio-level visibility to manage risk holistically across entire programs, not just single projects.

Strategic Investment and Future Growth

Lead investor Macquarie Capital Venture Capital recognized the platform's potential to transform project delivery operating models. Gary Munitz, the firm's Global Co-Head, noted that delivery discipline is crucial in a market where delays directly impact returns. He stated that Foresight gives project owners the clarity and control needed to maintain a competitive edge.

The Series A funding will fuel a three-pronged growth strategy for Foresight. The company will deepen its platform capabilities and expand its engineering and go-to-market teams for global deployment. It also plans to extend its reach into adjacent infrastructure verticals, including power, defense, and advanced manufacturing.

This $25 million investment positions Foresight to scale its mission of bringing predictability to complex infrastructure delivery. As industries race to build the data centers and energy systems of the future, the ability to deliver on schedule is paramount. Foresight aims to replace fragmented oversight with predictive control, ensuring capital is deployed effectively and projects are completed with greater certainty.
