Foodics has launched “Forward Together” (قدّها مع بعض), a regional relief initiative aimed at helping food and beverage operators manage increasing commercial pressure. The programme is designed for restaurants, cafés, quick-service outlets, bakeries, cloud kitchens, food trucks, and other foodservice businesses adapting to changing market conditions. Announced in Cairo on 6 April 2026, the initiative reflects Foodics’ push to support operators facing higher costs, tighter margins, and growing demand for technology-led efficiency.
Supporting Operators Under Pressure
The F&B sector across the GCC and North Africa continues to play a major role in employment, private-sector growth, and consumer activity. However, many operators are now contending with more expensive supply chains, cautious consumer spending, and reduced room for error in day-to-day operations. Foodics said the initiative was created to give businesses practical tools that can help protect liquidity, improve sales channels, and strengthen decision-making.
Three-Pillar Support Package
The “Forward Together” package is built around three main areas: financial liquidity, revenue generation, and smarter business decisions. Under the initiative, Foodics is offering flexible payment terms on new and renewing subscriptions across its markets, helping operators reduce short-term financial strain. The company is also providing access to digital ordering tools, including Foodics Online Website and Self Ordering Kiosk, to help restaurants create additional revenue streams at no cost during the initiative period, subject to company terms and conditions.
Technology and AI Enablement
A central part of the programme is Foodics’ focus on operational intelligence through advanced AI solutions. By offering complimentary access to AI-powered tools, the company aims to help restaurant operators use predictive insights to improve planning, manage performance, and respond more quickly to business shifts. This approach positions technology not only as a sales enabler, but also as a practical support mechanism for businesses navigating a more demanding operating environment.
Leadership Perspective
Ahmad AlZaini, Co-founder and CEO of Foodics, said the regional F&B industry remains a cornerstone of local communities and a major employer across GCC and North African markets. He noted that many operators are facing difficult conditions, making it important for technology providers to step in with meaningful support. According to AlZaini, Foodics’ mission is to help restaurants sustain growth, and “Forward Together” was developed to help more businesses keep operating through challenging periods.
Regional Market Opportunity
Belal Zahran, Chief Revenue Officer at Foodics, highlighted that the sector continues to show strong long-term potential despite current pressures. He pointed to Egypt as a fast-growing foodservice market, valued at around USD 11.83 billion, where demand for technology-driven solutions is increasing. The wider GCC foodservice market is valued at nearly USD 70 billion and is projected to exceed USD 121 billion by 2031, while Egypt’s market is expected to more than double over the same period.
Foodics’ latest initiative comes as foodservice businesses across the region look for ways to manage costs, improve efficiency, and unlock new sources of revenue. By combining flexible payments, digital ordering solutions, and AI-based insights, “Forward Together” aims to offer operators immediate support while encouraging longer-term digital transformation. The rollout across the GCC and Egypt reinforces Foodics’ position as a major restaurant technology platform in MENA and underlines the growing importance of tech-enabled resilience in the regional F&B industry.
