Epoch, a London-based supply chain intelligence company, raised $4.25 million in Seed funding. Burnt Island Ventures and Sand River led the round. It also launched a self-serve compliance product for small and midsized businesses.

Investor backing

The round brings Epoch's total funding to $6.26 million. Christine Boyle, a partner at Burnt Island Ventures, joins the board. The company will use the capital for product, infrastructure, and its commercial team.

Partnership reach

Epoch has signed partnerships with Altana, Assent, Resilinc, and 3E. These integrations give more than 30,000 enterprises access to first-mile data. Epoch has screened over 12,000 suppliers for enterprise customers in the past six months.

What the product does

Companies can start with only a list of supplier names. Epoch locates supplier facilities, identifies production plots, and assesses deforestation and legality risk. It produces a due diligence statement ready for the EU information system without asking suppliers for plot data.

The EU Deforestation Regulation applies to large and medium operators from December 30, 2026. Most micro and small operators must comply from June 30, 2027. Epoch's self-serve product starts with EUDR compliance.
