Enso, an AI agent company focused on marketing and sales, is moving to acquire two established marketing firms in a transaction valued at approximately US$20 million to US$25 million. The planned acquisitions target Israeli performance marketing agency PPG Digital and U.S.-based go-to-market firm LeadCoverage. The combined deals are expected to add around 50 employees and embed Enso’s automation technology directly into traditional advertising operations.

Deal Scope and Strategic Intent

PPG Digital manages media budgets exceeding NIS 600 million, or US$200 million, while LeadCoverage brings U.S. market expertise and established client relationships. Enso plans to use the acquisitions to introduce AI agents into a traditional advertising model that often depends on large teams and produces relatively low margins. The company aims to automate core agency workflows and create a more efficient operating structure.

Funding and Financial Position

The two acquisitions are valued at approximately US$20 million to US$25 million, according to people familiar with the matter. Enso recently announced a US$15 million funding round led by MoreTech Ventures, with participation from NFX, Phenomen VC, and Gil Hirsch. The company has raised US$23 million to date and plans to launch another significant fundraising round to finance the acquisitions.

Technology and Market Shift

Enso said customer search behavior is shifting toward AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google’s AI-generated answers. The company’s agents analyze how these platforms rank content, recommend brands, and cite sources. They test hypotheses through small-scale experiments, measure the results, and convert successful methods into continuous automated workflows for clients.

Clients and Leadership

Enso was founded in 2024 by Mickey Haslavsky, who serves as CEO and previously co-founded RapidAPI. The company currently employs 26 people, most of them based in Israel, and works with clients including Papaya Global, MyHeritage, Papaya Gaming, Natural Intelligence, Winn AI, and Israel Canada. The planned acquisitions would significantly expand its workforce and strengthen its role in the marketing industry.

Workforce Growth and Integration

The two acquisitions are expected to add around 50 employees from PPG Digital and LeadCoverage to Enso’s team. The company plans to combine its AI agent technology with the agencies’ established marketing teams and client relationships. This integration is intended to give Enso a larger presence in the advertising and marketing sector while improving service delivery through automation.

Competitive Context

Enso is targeting a traditional agency market characterized by large teams and relatively low margins. The company wants to introduce a more automated operating model that can adapt when marketing methods lose effectiveness. This approach could help it stand out as AI search and recommendation systems continue to reshape how brands reach customers.

Enso’s move reflects a broader push to bring AI agents into mature marketing services. The company is betting that automation can reduce reliance on large teams and improve margins in a traditional agency market. If the acquisitions proceed, Enso will gain both talent and clients while positioning itself at the intersection of AI and advertising.
