SignSplit PBC, a Delaware public benefit corporation founded in 2024, has emerged from stealth with a US$400 million strategic Seed round secured with W Group, a global fintech and technology ecosystem serving more than 40 million users. The financing commitment values the company at US$1 billion and combines capital with a multi-year package of strategic resources. The announcement positions SignSplit to scale its platform for protecting, licensing, and contributing real-world human data, work, and likeness.

Financing and Strategic Resources

The investment is structured as a strategic Seed round, reflecting a substantial commitment to SignSplit's infrastructure rather than a conventional early stage capital injection. The resources are intended to support the company's global rollout across industries that increasingly depend on high-quality human information and verified rights. W Group's ecosystem spans 11 businesses, more than 1,500 team members, 15 locations worldwide, and more than 40 million clients across 150 countries.

The Signed Data Platform

SignSplit enables people and institutions to participate proactively in the next generation of artificial intelligence by protecting, licensing, and contributing their data, work, and likeness under clear consent, provenance, and defined terms. Through the platform, AI and robotics companies, researchers, and media organizations can access curated data and research pools built around specific operational needs. Contributors receive compensation for their participation, while a verification layer helps AI systems, social media platforms, and digital services identify signed content and its associated rights.

CEO Perspective

Alessandro Monterosso, Co-Founder and CEO of SignSplit, said the company provides solutions for a world where the boundary between human experience and technology is becoming increasingly fluid. He added that SignSplit and signed data can become a bridge connecting human contribution with protection, participation, and compensation as technology advances. The company's model treats real-world knowledge, creativity, skills, and identity as essential inputs for advanced AI, robotics, science, healthcare, media, and entertainment.

Investor Perspective

Volodymyr Nosov, Founder and President of W Group, said SignSplit introduces a new standard for the use of individuals' and institutions' data, work, and likenesses. He noted that every serious participant in AI and the data economy will come to rely on SignSplit's infrastructure. The scale of W Group's commitment reflects both how early the market is and how important these solutions are for every industry that relies on human data.

Founding Vision and Company Structure

SignSplit was founded in 2024 by Glib Denisov, Co-Founder, Executive Chairman, and Chief Product Officer. Denisov said the company was building for where AI was going, not where it was at the time. He explained that next-generation AI will require higher-quality real-world data with clear provenance, permission, and rights attached to it, and the company is incorporated as a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation to advance that standard.

Market Implications

The announcement comes as advanced AI models, robotics systems, and digital platforms face growing pressure to source training data and human knowledge with clear legal and ethical standing. SignSplit's approach addresses a critical gap between the increasing demand for real-world human input and the need for consent, attribution, and compensation. Its verification layer could support more transparent interactions between contributors and the organizations that use their data, work, and likeness.

The emergence of SignSplit and its US$400 million strategic Seed round underscores growing demand for verified human contribution in AI, robotics, research, and media. As digital services evolve, the ability to attach consent, provenance, and compensation to real-world data may become a foundational requirement for responsible innovation. With W Group's backing, SignSplit is positioned to build a global bridge between human contribution and the next wave of technology, while providing a structured, rights-based approach to the data economy.
