Energy Impact Partners and the Singapore Economic Development Board announced a deeper partnership on energy innovation and decarbonization. The announcement was made at the inaugural Singapore Industry Decarbonisation Forum 2026. EIP manages more than $5 billion in assets and works with over 80 corporate partners.

Partnership scope

EIP will connect promising companies to Singapore's research and industry ecosystem. The arrangement will create channels for technical exchange and strategic collaboration. Both sides will also explore pathways to commercialize and scale innovative energy technologies.

Shared strengths

Singapore offers research capabilities, industrial infrastructure, and connectivity across Asia. EIP contributes a global network of energy and industrial companies and technology startups. The two organizations expect these strengths to support development, test-bedding, scale-up, and commercial deployment.

EIP background

EIP is a global energy investor with offices in New York, San Francisco, London, and other cities. The firm invests across venture, growth, private equity, and credit. It employs more than 100 professionals worldwide.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship between EIP and EDB. EIP partner Anil Achyuta said the collaboration can help promising energy startups find a path to scale. EDB executive vice president Wey-Len Lim said the work will help Singapore gain insights into emerging technologies and industry needs.
