Braid, a platform for enterprise branded mobile connectivity, has raised $38 million in Series A funding. Octopus Ventures led the round, with participation from KPN Ventures. The company helps brands embed SIM and eSIM connectivity into their own products.
Funding so far
Braid launched in 2023. It had not raised outside capital before this Series A. The company reports that it is profitable and cash-flow positive today.
Company and customers
Founder and CEO Jignesh Dave ran a mobile virtual network operator for seven years. Braid is headquartered in The Hague. It serves close to 90 enterprise customers, including major global fintech and travel brands.
What the platform does
Braid's API orchestrates more than 600 carriers across 200 countries. Brands can embed SIM and eSIM connectivity directly into their own products. They can also launch a branded storefront without becoming telecom operators themselves.
The new funding will support international expansion. Braid also plans to deepen its carrier network. It will continue building infrastructure to grow its share of the embedded connectivity market.
