Bites has raised $40 million in Series A funding. PeakSpan Capital led the round, with existing investors Vertex Ventures, Horizon Capital, and others participating. The company provides an AI-native frontline performance enablement platform for deskless workers.

Funding and board

The round brings Bites' total funding to $55 million. PeakSpan's Phil Dur and Charlie Reinkemeyer will join the company's board of directors. The capital will fund U.S. expansion and further platform development.

Company and customers

Bites was founded in 2020 by Eran Heffetz, Tal Nagler Almog, and Hagai Horovitz. It is headquartered in New York and Tel Aviv. Customers include Unilever, Coca-Cola, Shake Shack, Wynn Resorts, The Venetian, and Compass Group.

How the platform works

Bites delivers lessons of up to 90 seconds through WhatsApp, SMS, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or a simple link. Its AI Studio turns a PDF or SOP into a branded training video, with support for more than 150 languages. An Ask-AI tool answers employee questions using only approved company content.

The funding will also support commercial growth. Bites plans to build partner and reseller channels and expand into banking, insurance, and the extended workforce. It is also developing a loop that detects performance gaps, creates targeted training, delivers it to workers, and measures business outcomes.
