Grey, a Y Combinator-backed cross-border payments company, launched Paycheck for professionals earning in US dollars, British pounds, and euros. The salary account helps remote workers manage recurring foreign-currency income. Grey has processed nearly $5 billion in lifetime payment volume across more than 40 million transactions and over 3 million users in 70 countries.

How Paycheck works

Users can receive salaries in US dollars, British pounds, or euros directly into Grey. Existing customers can activate Paycheck in the app without changing account details. Others can share Grey account details with employers or payroll providers.

Company growth

Grey serves customers in 70 countries and provides payouts to over 170 destinations. It reports roughly 170% to 175% year-on-year growth in payment volume. The Grey Business unit has processed more than $100 million since launching in early 2026.

Account perks

Paycheck users receive 3% annual interest on Pouch savings, compared with 2% for other customers. They also get higher limits, priority support, cashback rewards, eSIM packages, and co-working passes. Grey plans to add physical plastic and metal USD cards.

Grey is working to connect its business payout rails with the new salary accounts. Credit and yield features will roll out in phases with licensed local partners. The company plans to drive this payroll corridor in the coming weeks and months.
