Arintra, an enterprise AI platform specializing in healthcare revenue assurance, has successfully closed a $25 million Series B funding round. The investment, led by Define Ventures, elevates the company's total funding to $51 million and is set to accelerate its mission of transforming revenue cycle management. Arintra's autonomous coding platform is designed to ensure health systems are paid accurately and promptly for the care they provide.

Addressing Systemic Revenue Challenges

The U.S. healthcare system faces immense financial pressure, with providers losing billions annually due to fragmented and error-prone payment systems. Traditional revenue cycle management has struggled to keep pace, relying on disjointed processes that leave significant revenue uncollected. Arintra is pioneering a new category called revenue assurance, using an agentic AI approach to unify these processes and close the gap between care delivered and revenue earned.

A Unified AI-Powered Platform

At the core of Arintra's solution is a unified platform that automates medical coding, the foundation of the revenue cycle, across more than 23 specialties. Its technology extends this intelligence to clinical documentation, denial appeals, and payer insights, covering ambulatory, emergency, and inpatient settings. A key differentiator is its EHR-embedded audit trail, which provides full transparency and allows coding professionals to confidently validate AI-generated recommendations.

Demonstrating Tangible Impact

The platform's impact is validated by leading partners, including UC Davis Health and Rochester Regional Health, which praise its enterprise-wide capabilities. Arintra currently processes over $5 billion in annual claim value, delivering a 5.1% increase in compliant revenue capture and a 43% reduction in coding-related denials. Partners also report that the system's transparency enables audit processes that are approximately 50% faster than manual methods.

Investor Confidence and Future Growth

The new funding underscores strong investor confidence in Arintra's approach to solving a critical industry problem. Chirag Shah, a partner at lead investor Define Ventures, described Arintra as an "indispensable piece of the enterprise health system's infrastructure." The company plans to use the capital to expand its footprint across more health systems, deepen its clinical coverage, and extend its platform's capabilities into new areas of the revenue cycle.

As health systems navigate ongoing financial and labor constraints, ensuring accurate payment has become a strategic imperative. Arintra's latest funding round positions it to scale its revenue assurance platform, which replaces fragmented point solutions with a unified, intelligent system. CEO Nitesh Shroff affirmed the company's goal is to provide a financial foundation that matches the high quality of care delivered by its partners across the country.
