Alpha Dhabi Holding signed an agreement on October 26, 2026 to commit US$1 billion, or about AED 3.67 billion, to Alpha Wave III. Alpha Wave Global manages the fund. The commitment remains subject to applicable approvals.

Prior fund participation

The commitment follows Alpha Dhabi's participation in Alpha Wave Ventures II. Through that fund, Alpha Dhabi gained indirect exposure to SpaceX, OpenAI, and Anthropic. The new agreement builds on this existing relationship with Alpha Wave Global.

Portfolio diversification

Alpha Dhabi is an investment holding company listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. It pursues portfolio diversification through exposure to innovation-led sectors. The commitment supports that long-term value creation goal.

Fund focus

Alpha Wave III is expected to invest globally in artificial intelligence and high-growth businesses. It will target companies that develop or apply transformative technologies. Capital will be deployed over time in line with capital calls and the fund's investment program.

Alpha Dhabi plans to fund the investment from cash distributions recycled from its prior Alpha Wave fund and existing resources. The financial impact will be recognized over time. The company will make further disclosures as required under applicable laws and ADX rules.
