Wint, a provider of water management solutions for the built environment, has announced a $36 million Series D funding round. The investment was co-led by LIP Ventures and Inven Capital and was announced on September 9, 2026 from New York. The company said the new capital will help accelerate product development and expand its market presence as enterprise demand for water risk management continues to grow.

Funding Round and Strategic Objectives

The Series D investment provides Wint with additional resources to scale its platform across a larger share of the global built environment. The company plans to use the funding to accelerate product development and deepen its reach among enterprise customers. Wint positions itself as a trusted platform for enterprise water intelligence, serving organizations that need to detect, manage, and prevent water-related risks.

Investor Confidence in Water Intelligence

Alan Weisleder, Partner at LIP Ventures, said Wint has built a strong customer base and a proven track record in enterprise water management. He described the investment as an opportunity to help an established team scale a proven solution globally. Michal Mravec, Investment Director at Inven Capital, noted that growing traction with insurers, real estate owners, and facility managers validates Wint's ability to create value across the water management ecosystem.

Executive Perspective on Water Risk

Alon Geva, CEO at Wint, said water risk is one of the most underestimated threats to the built environment. He stated that the funding allows the company to bring proactive water intelligence to every building, everywhere. Buildings that run on Wint leak less, waste less, and perform better, he added.

AI-Powered Water Management Platform

Wint's platform uses artificial intelligence algorithms to analyze water data in commercial and industrial buildings in real time. This gives facilities and risk teams precise visibility into where water is being used, wasted, or lost before damage occurs. The company serves global enterprises, commercial and residential facilities, general contractors, and mission-critical facilities seeking to reduce water waste, prevent damage, lower operational costs, and strengthen ESG impact.

Strategic Growth and 2025 Performance

In December 2025, Wint secured a strategic investment from Grosvenor, a global property owner and developer, to expand its solutions across the firm's real estate portfolio. During 2025, Wint reported saving 1.15 billion gallons of water and preventing an estimated $100 million in water damage across more than 1,300 incidents. The company also avoided over 39,000 metric tons of carbon emissions and launched AI-based Water Insights along with AI-driven water temperature and boiler health analysis.

Enterprise Demand and Market Context

Enterprise demand for proactive water risk management is increasing as organizations recognize the financial and operational consequences of leaks and water damage. Commercial and industrial buildings face growing pressure to reduce water consumption and improve sustainability reporting. Wint's expansion comes as insurers, property owners, and facility managers seek more reliable tools to mitigate water-related losses.

With this Series D funding, Wint aims to broaden adoption of proactive water intelligence across commercial and industrial properties worldwide. The backing from LIP Ventures and Inven Capital reflects rising investor recognition of water risk as a critical operational and ESG challenge. As the company continues to scale its AI-driven platform, it is positioned to help more organizations prevent costly damage, reduce waste, and improve building performance.
