Jingshuo, a WeRide subsidiary that builds data infrastructure for physical AI, raised tens of millions of dollars in pre-Series A funding. Investors include Vision Knight Capital, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, and Sirius Capital. The company plans to expand its core research and development team and build more data tools.
Use of funds
The new capital will support its data platform, world models, and reusable robot skill systems. Jingshuo also plans to produce higher-quality datasets across more tasks and operating environments. This work supports infrastructure for physical AI.
Company roots
Jingshuo grew out of WeRide's physical AI research efforts. Its CEO, Huo Da, was WeRide's first employee. He helped build engineering teams in China, the US, and Singapore.
Customers and orders
Jingshuo serves large model companies and embodied intelligence businesses. It works with dozens of firms in these areas. The company reported order volume above several billion yuan and annual revenue growth above 100%.
Following the financing, Jingshuo remains a majority-owned WeRide subsidiary. It will keep operating independently. Its financial results will remain consolidated into WeRide's accounts.
