German startup VUSE XR has raised €1.2 million in a Pre-Seed round. The round was led by IACD, a business angel network based in Düsseldorf. The startup builds an enterprise platform for creating and managing mixed reality training.
Funding details
The new capital will fund further development of the VUSE XR Hub. It will also support AI-assisted content creation. The company plans to use the money for commercial growth.
Company background
VUSE XR was founded in November 2023. Its customers include ZEISS, Witron, Hologic, and Badenova. The company named Jan Hendrik Degner Chief Commercial Officer and Robert Günther Vice President of Sales and Service Delivery.
How the platform works
The VUSE XR Hub turns existing CAD models and engineering data into photorealistic 3D models. Companies can build training sequences with AI tools, text prompts, or drag-and-drop. The training runs on web browsers, mobile devices, and XR headsets.
The company sells access through a recurring software license. It also provides onboarding support and assistance with first training applications. Customers use the platform to explain complex products and processes without physical equipment on site.
