Brazilian fintech Stark Bank is expanding beyond large corporate clients. The Jeff Bezos-backed bank will now serve companies with annual revenue starting at R$1 million. It plans to grow its active accounts from about 1,700 to more than 10,000 by the end of next year.
New client focus
The company currently focuses on clients with revenue between R$100 million and R$1 billion. The lower entry point opens a much larger market for the bank. The change will reduce its dependence on large contracts.
Recent volume growth
The group processed more than R$1 trillion in transactions over the past 12 months. Its first-half 2026 volume reached R$649.8 billion, up from R$220.8 billion a year earlier. The group also includes Stark Infra, which serves around 40 regulated institutions.
Products and licensing
Stark Bank offers payments, cash management, corporate cards, and other financial services. The bank is redesigning its app and internet banking to support smaller customers. It is also awaiting central bank approval to operate as a multiple bank.
The company said it is not raising a new funding round for this plan. It has enough liquidity and no debt. Stark Bank is building a growth team and updating its communication to attract smaller companies digitally.
