Solari Capital has emerged from stealth with the announcement that Managing Partner AJ Scaramucci has quietly deployed US$350 million across early-stage venture, late-stage venture, and company incubations. The New York-based firm is supported by limited partners including Ron Conway, Eric Schmidt, Jim Breyer, and Stephen Pagliuca. Solari Capital operates around a central thesis that rapid advances in computational power are making what it calls Programmable Reality a defining investment opportunity.

The Programmable Reality Thesis

Solari Capital argues that exponential growth in computing is triggering a technological renaissance that could unlock trillions of dollars in economic value. In this environment, intelligence becomes omnipresent, biology becomes writable, and the physical world moves from chaos to order. Scaramucci said the current shift is larger than any previous technology cycle because humanity is moving from evolution by natural selection to evolution by intelligent direction, and he argued that exponential change often appears sudden after years of quiet compounding.

Four Investment Verticals

The firm channels its thesis through four areas: Programmable Intelligence, Programmable Biology, Programmable Matter, and Programmable Finance. These verticals span foundation models, computational drug discovery, aerospace and defense, energy, robotics, fintech, and blockchain infrastructure. Solari views each category as part of a broader transformation in which code, data, and computation are reshaping economic, biological, and physical systems at the same time.

A Differentiated Approach

Solari builds companies from scratch and operates them at their inception. Treasure Trove was created to own and compound iconic scarce cultural assets, while Radial Health is an interventional psychiatry business now backed by General Catalyst, Emerson Collective, and BoxGroup. Elliot Cohen, co-founder of PillPack and Radial Health, said Scaramucci balances grounded thinking with ideas ambitious enough to change how people interact with the world.

Investment Strategy

On the investment side, Solari backs founders at the earliest rounds and supports companies as they scale from Pre-Seed to Pre-IPO. Portfolio examples include Northwood Space and General Medicine, representing the firm's interest in frontier infrastructure and healthcare services. Ron Conway, Founder and Managing Partner of SV Angel, said Scaramucci has strong instincts for identifying founders early, winning contested deals, and recruiting world-class teams.

The SALT Network

Through SALT, Solari co-hosts investment forums in New York, London, Singapore, Abu Dhabi, and other global cities. These gatherings convene leaders across technology, capital markets, and global affairs to support business development, recruiting, and capital raising. Jim Breyer, Founder and Managing Partner at Breyer Capital, said the SALT network is extraordinary and generates strong deal flow.

Portfolio and Backers

The firm has deployed US$350 million across investments in xAI, Kira Learning, General Medicine, Suno, Orionis Biosciences, Base Power, and Apex Space, alongside its incubations. Limited partners include Ron Conway, Eric Schmidt, Jim Breyer, Stephen Pagliuca, and others. Peter Diamandis, Founder and Chairman of XPRIZE, said Scaramucci is positioned to play a pivotal role in the transformation of humanity this century.

Solari Capital enters the market with an unusually broad mandate that combines company creation, early-stage investing, and a global conference network. Its emergence from stealth reflects confidence that artificial intelligence, biotechnology, advanced materials, and financial innovation are converging into a single long-term opportunity. The firm's ability to deploy substantial capital while convening influential technology and finance leaders may help it attract founders pursuing ambitious bets in programmable systems.
