Saudi logistics technology startup Sirdab has closed a Series A funding round worth SAR 37.5 million, equivalent to approximately USD 10 million. The investment was co-led by Elm, a digital solutions company backed by the Public Investment Fund, and existing investor BECO Capital. Additional participants included Y Combinator, COTU Ventures, D Global Ventures, and a group of angel investors.

Investor Backing and Company Origins

The participation of Elm and BECO Capital highlights growing confidence in Sirdab's digital approach to logistics and its regional expansion potential. Sirdab was founded in 2022 by Naif Alzahri and Abdulrahman Alnamlah to help businesses manage supply chain operations in a flexible and integrated manner. Since graduating from Y Combinator's Winter 2023 batch, the company has reached profitability and reported a twentyfold increase in revenue.

Unified Platform for Logistics Management

The Sirdab platform enables companies to secure verified warehousing and transportation services, manage inventory and orders across multiple locations, and monitor service levels from a single system. Businesses can contract with trusted logistics providers while coordinating daily operations in one place without switching between different tools. This unified approach gives clients greater visibility and control as they scale their activities across new cities and categories.

Provider Ecosystem and Asset-Light Model

Logistics providers use Sirdab's technology to standardize their operations, share available capacity, and improve compliance and billing processes. The company operates an asset-light model that combines a network of partner warehouses with strategically located facilities run directly by Sirdab in key hubs. This structure helps the distributed infrastructure function as one connected system while giving providers access to new demand.

Growth Metrics and Market Reach

Sirdab now serves more than 850 businesses, including major government entities, publicly listed companies, and leading enterprises across multiple sectors. Its network spans over 120 warehouses and more than 60 transportation providers, supporting dry, ambient, chilled, and frozen logistics requirements. The company's growing scale reflects strong demand for reliable logistics capacity and consistent operational standards in the region.

Regional Market Context

Saudi Arabia is developing one of the most dynamic logistics markets in the world, driven by economic diversification and growing trade volumes. Sirdab's platform is positioned to help businesses respond to this shift by offering flexible access to warehousing and transportation capacity. The company's standardized model supports enterprises that need to scale operations quickly across different cities and supply chain segments.

Deployment of Series A Capital

Sirdab plans to use the new capital to strengthen its network and services across Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf Cooperation Council region. The company will invest in advancing its technology platform, including artificial intelligence capabilities that match businesses with the most suitable operational capacity. It also aims to automate day-to-day coordination between shippers, warehouses, and transportation providers to improve efficiency.

Leadership Perspective

Naif Alzahri, co-founder and chief executive officer of Sirdab, said the company is building the logistics infrastructure layer for Saudi Arabia and the GCC. He emphasized that Sirdab makes quality capacity accessible in days, keeps operations visible in real time, and holds service to a consistent standard. This enables companies to expand into new cities and categories with confidence.

The Series A round strengthens Sirdab's position as a digital logistics infrastructure provider for Saudi Arabia and the GCC. With new capital, a growing network, and planned artificial intelligence enhancements, the company is well equipped to address rising demand for flexible supply chain solutions. Its continued expansion is expected to support more businesses seeking reliable warehousing and transportation services across the region.
