Selbetti Tecnologia has acquired Botdesigner, a Florianópolis-based company specializing in patient journey automation, in a move that reinforces the group's expansion in artificial intelligence and healthcare technology. The acquired platform serves more than 200 health institutions and has already reached more than 20 million patients. The transaction is part of a planned R$100 million acquisition cycle for 2026, with five operations expected across the year, and it supports the group's broader digital solutions portfolio.
Deepening Healthcare Automation
The acquired company becomes part of the Selbetti Customer Experience unit, which brings together digital service solutions including chatbots, voicebots, artificial intelligence, and process automation. Botdesigner's technology automates key stages of the patient journey, from specialty search and scheduling to confirmation, rescheduling, cancellation, and post-care follow-up. According to Selbetti, the platform records more than 85% automated scheduling, more than 90% of appointments confirmed by the bot, and a reduction of more than 60% in absenteeism.
Strategic Priority in Healthcare
Health is the largest segment for Selbetti, which generated R$151.8 million in revenue from the sector in 2025. Junior Selbach, CEO of Selbetti, said the acquisition deepens the company's ability to serve clinics and hospitals with specialized vertical expertise combined with its broader technology ecosystem. He added that healthcare remains a priority for the group and that Selbetti will continue developing new solutions for this rapidly changing market.
A Wider Acquisition Cycle
The Botdesigner deal continues an expansion strategy that began in 2014 and has already included 48 incorporations. The 2026 plan reserves R$100 million for new acquisitions, with five transactions designed to add complementary capabilities to the technology ecosystem. Selbetti, founded in 1977, has more than 2,200 professionals and ten business units, and it has evolved from a provider of equipment and technology services into a group operating in automation, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and digital experience.
Integration and Scale
Frederico de Souza, founder and CEO of Botdesigner, said joining Selbetti's ecosystem gives the company scale, national reach, and a complementary portfolio that supports its next stage of growth. Integration is scheduled to begin on October 1, and Selbetti plans to connect Botdesigner's platform to its other Customer Experience solutions and business units in the following months. The goal is to expand offerings for its healthcare client base and explore cross-selling opportunities.
Market Context
The acquisition aligns with broader digitalization in Brazilian healthcare. Data from the TIC Saúde 2025 survey, released in May 2026 by the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee, shows that online interaction between patients and health teams more than doubled from 16% of establishments in 2023 to 35% in 2025. Online appointment scheduling rose from 13% in 2022 to 34% in 2025, and 18% of establishments already use artificial intelligence, especially for clinical and administrative process organization.
The acquisition positions Selbetti to strengthen its presence in a fast-changing healthcare market while advancing toward its target of R$1 billion in revenue. By combining Botdesigner's specialized patient journey automation with Selbetti's scale and digital portfolio, the company expects to deliver more integrated experiences to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic imaging services, and health operators. The operation reflects a continued focus on strategic acquisitions that add technical depth rather than simply expanding size.
