D-Robotics, a Chinese robotics computing platform company, has successfully closed a $120 million Series B1 funding round. This new capital injection, following a $100 million Series A round in 2025, brings the company's total funding to $220 million. The investment will accelerate the development of its full-stack solutions for the rapidly growing embodied intelligence market.

Broad Investor Confidence

The round attracted a powerful coalition of investors, led by industrial giants DiDi and Meituan Longzhu. Their participation highlights the strategic importance of D-Robotics' platform for large-scale service and logistics applications. This endorsement from major technology players signals strong market confidence in the company's vision and commercial viability.

Support was further solidified by strategic investors like Borui Capital and BAIC Capital, alongside financial firms including Jinqiu Fund. Notably, existing shareholders such as GL Ventures and Vertex Growth oversubscribed their follow-on investments. This broad backing from both new and returning partners underscores a shared belief in the company's long-term potential.

Accelerating Embodied Intelligence

The new capital will be deployed to advance full-stack research and development across both hardware and software. D-Robotics aims to accelerate product iteration and solidify its native embodied intelligence foundation. This involves tightly integrating software-hardware co-design with cloud-edge computing to create a robust and scalable infrastructure.

The company positions itself as a foundational platform provider, offering a complete product lineup with computing power from 5 to 560 TOPS. This versatile range addresses the edge computing needs of diverse robot forms, including humanoids, quadrupeds, and AMRs. Its goal is to serve as the "industry's greatest common denominator," simplifying development across the robotics ecosystem.

Proven Market Traction and Strategic Alliances

D-Robotics has already achieved significant market traction through key partnerships with industry leaders. Recent successes include powering Narwal's AI-driven robot vacuums and collaborating with Insta360 on the world's first panoramic drone. These collaborations demonstrate the real-world applicability and performance of its computing solutions in consumer products.

A cornerstone of its strategy is a deep alliance with Horizon Robotics, leveraging its proven BPU computing architecture. The two companies share a vision to become the "Wintel of the robotics era," providing essential hardware and software platforms. This partnership allows D-Robotics to adapt mature, automotive-grade AI technology for the embodied intelligence market.

This $120 million funding round is a significant milestone for D-Robotics, cementing its role as a key enabler in the robotics industry. With robust financial backing and powerful strategic alliances, the company is poised to accelerate the development of intelligent robots. The investment validates its foundational platform strategy and fuels its mission to make embodied intelligence universally accessible.
