ProLogium Holding Inc., a leader in next-generation battery manufacturing, has successfully secured a $50 million capital investment from its existing shareholders. This financial injection is a crucial component of its planned business combination with Translational Development Acquisition Corp. (TDAC). The deal is set to pave the way for ProLogium's debut as a publicly listed company, marking a significant milestone in its corporate journey.

A Strategic Step Towards Public Listing

The investment was secured from a consortium of current ProLogium investors, demonstrating strong internal confidence in the company's trajectory. This capital infusion is part of a broader financing effort tied to the merger with the special purpose acquisition company, TDAC. The transaction values ProLogium at a pre-money valuation of approximately $3.8 billion, reflecting its significant market potential.

Proceeds from this funding round are earmarked for several key strategic initiatives designed to accelerate the company's growth. A primary focus will be on scaling up the production of its innovative lithium ceramic batteries. This move is essential as ProLogium prepares to meet increasing demand from various high-tech sectors across the globe.

Powering European Gigafactory Ambitions

A significant portion of the new capital will advance the construction of ProLogium's planned gigafactory in Dunkirk, France. This ambitious project is a cornerstone of the company's European expansion strategy and aims to establish a major production hub. The facility is supported by a substantial subsidy package of up to €1.375 billion from the French government.

Groundbreaking for the Dunkirk facility's first phase took place in February 2026, with the project now moving into detailed design and construction. ProLogium anticipates that this initial phase will achieve a designed production capacity of 4.0 GWh by 2030. The site holds the potential for a maximum designed capacity of 44.0 GWh, positioning it as a key European battery supplier.

Leadership Expresses Confidence

Vincent Yang, the Founder and CEO of ProLogium, stated that the investment marks another positive step toward completing the transaction with TDAC. He emphasized that it reflects investor confidence in ProLogium's technology and its ability to execute its strategic plans. The funding brings the company closer to the capital required for its large-scale manufacturing and gigafactory goals.

Echoing this sentiment, TDAC Chairman and CEO Michael B. Hoffman highlighted the continued support from insider investors. He described the investment as a strong vote of confidence in ProLogium's vision and growth plan. This conviction reinforces the strategic partnership formed between TDAC and the ProLogium leadership team.

Innovation and Market Diversification

Founded in 2006, ProLogium has established itself as an energy innovation firm specializing in lithium ceramic battery development and manufacturing. The company holds an extensive portfolio of over 1,100 global patents, both granted and pending. Its technology has already been commercialized in various consumer electronics and automotive applications since 2013.

Beyond its core automotive focus, ProLogium is actively pursuing expansion into adjacent high-growth markets. The company plans to leverage its next-generation battery technology for applications in data centers, aerospace, and robotics. This diversification strategy aims to solidify its position as a versatile energy solutions provider for future industries.

This $50 million investment serves as a powerful catalyst for ProLogium, reinforcing its financial foundation ahead of its public listing. The capital not only accelerates the development of its French gigafactory but also strengthens its capacity for technological innovation and market expansion. As ProLogium moves closer to completing its merger with TDAC, it is well-positioned to become a formidable force in the global battery industry.
