San Mateo, California-based Presto Phoenix, Inc., a provider of enterprise-grade Voice AI for quick-service restaurants (QSRs), announced on September 28, 2026 that it has raised US$10 million in new funding from Remus Capital-affiliated investors and other existing backers. The financing arrives as the company reports growing deployments and new customer launches for its Presto Voice platform. The announcement highlights accelerating demand for automated order taking across the QSR industry.

Funding Details and Investor Confidence

The new capital follows a period of continued momentum for Presto Voice, with existing customers expanding their drive-thru deployments and new quick-service restaurant brands joining the platform. Presto has also announced partnerships with Toast and several AI partners, including ElevenLabs and Bluejay, which form part of its proprietary AI platform. These collaborations reflect the company's effort to broaden its product capabilities while increasing its footprint in the restaurant technology ecosystem.

Krishna Gupta, co-founder and CEO of Presto, said the company has proven that Voice AI can deliver meaningful results at scale in demanding drive-thru environments and across complex menus. He noted that Presto is investing heavily in product and operations to help the industry adapt to what he called an inevitable agentic future. Gupta added that QSR brands increasingly recognize the need for digitalization and standardization, and he framed voice as the natural starting point for that transformation.

John Tincoff from Remus Capital expressed support for Presto's leadership and progress. He said AI is digitalizing the world and that clear tailwinds now exist for QSR adoption, driven by labor conditions, the need to standardize best practices, and the importance of data. Tincoff suggested that without access to operational data, restaurant operators cannot keep pace with agentic leaders.

Product Momentum and Partnerships

Presto's recent partnership announcements include restaurant technology provider Toast and AI specialists ElevenLabs and Bluejay. These relationships are embedded in Presto's proprietary AI platform and support a wider range of voice and automation capabilities. The company is using this ecosystem to improve the accuracy, responsiveness, and operational value of its drive-thru offering.

Deployment activity is expanding across existing customer sites, and new QSR operators have begun using Presto Voice to manage ordering workflows. The platform is designed to handle high-volume drive-thru environments and complex menus without requiring human intervention for routine orders. Presto views these operational wins as evidence that voice automation is moving beyond pilot programs into broader commercial use.

Strategic Use of Capital

The US$10 million investment will be used to enhance Presto's position as an industry leader in Voice AI for the drive-thru. Funding will support expanded deployments, continued technology development, and greater customer impact across the quick-service restaurant sector. Company leaders said the capital will help the business meet rising demand while strengthening its underlying AI infrastructure.

With this US$10 million round, Presto Phoenix is positioning itself at the center of a broader shift toward Voice AI in quick-service restaurants. The support from Remus Capital-affiliated investors and existing backers underscores confidence in the company's execution and product roadmap. As labor pressures and efficiency demands continue to shape the QSR sector, Presto's expanding deployments and partner ecosystem may play a growing role in the industry's digital transformation.
