OnSport AI has raised a US$2 million Pre-Seed round. The Miami-based company builds computer vision software that flags injury risk during live play. It also has an office in Orange County, California.

Use of funds

The new capital will support product development. It will help scale partnerships across professional and collegiate sports. The company plans to grow its engineering and biomechanics teams.

Market reach

OnSport AI has agreements with organizations in the NBA and NCAA. It also has agreements with international basketball and professional soccer teams. Co-founders Brett Burman and Ahmad Ishaq bring experience from basketball and defense technology.

What the platform does

The patent-pending software analyzes athlete movement to identify elevated injury risk in real time and after events. It is grounded in biomechanics and cognitive modeling. Performance staff, medical teams, and front offices receive objective insight into injury factors.

OnSport AI is finalizing league-wide enterprise agreements for digital media and fan engagement. It is applying the same movement analysis to military health, readiness, and performance. Adam Petway leads the company's biomechanics work.
