Metaview, an AI-powered recruiting platform, has raised US$60 million in a Series C funding round led by Insight Partners. The round includes participation from GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural, and Garuda Ventures, bringing the company's total funding to US$110 million. More than 7,000 companies now use Metaview, and the company plans to use the capital to expand autonomous AI agents across the full recruiting process.
From Interview Capture to an Agentic Recruiting Platform
Metaview has evolved from capturing the conversations where hiring decisions happen to deploying AI agents across the entire recruiting process. The platform now sources candidates, reviews applications, conducts structured screening conversations, and turns human interviews into usable intelligence. This shift allows recruiting work to continue around the clock while people remain in control of the decisions that matter.
Recruiting Challenges at Scale
The company points to a recruiting industry worth US$800 billion that has been built on high-effort manual work and minimal technological leverage. Applications per recruiter have increased by 412%, while the average time to fill a role remains nearly 45 days, and nearly 50% of hiring decisions are later regretted. Recruiters often spend the majority of their time on administrative tasks rather than on relationships, assessment, and persuasion.
Agentic AI and the Fillmore Coworker
Metaview positions its agentic AI as a way to handle administrative work and feed every captured signal into sharper hiring decisions. Fillmore, the company's autonomous recruiting coworker, sources candidates, writes personalized outreach, manages follow-up, and books screening calls with human oversight where needed. In one example, AI sourced and contacted 52 candidates, booked five screening calls, and helped a company move from first sourcing to a signed offer within 30 days.
Series C Investment Priorities
The new funding will support three priorities for Metaview. The company is building new agents across the recruiting process, including a dedicated AI screening agent, and expanding Fillmore's availability. These platform investments are designed to make recruiting more continuous across time zones while keeping human oversight in the decisions that matter most.
Expansion and Team Growth
Metaview currently has teams in London and San Francisco, and the company is opening a New York office as part of its growth plan. It intends to grow from 80 people to 250 by the end of next year. Hiring will focus on engineering, product, design, and go-to-market roles, and this expansion supports the company's ambition to serve more customers globally.
Building Talent Engineering Skills
Metaview is investing in 10x Recruiting, a community and training program for recruiters, talent operations professionals, and hiring leaders. The initiative is built around what the company calls talent engineering, the discipline of designing, running, and improving AI-powered hiring systems. Metaview argues that the strongest teams over the next decade will be built by people who know how to use these tools well.
The Series C round highlights growing investor confidence in AI systems that automate recruiting workflows rather than merely assisting with individual tasks. Metaview believes that AI has already changed how companies build products, and it now has the potential to change how companies build teams. As the company expands its platform and workforce, it is actively hiring people who want to shape the future of recruiting.
