Brazilian startup Runflow has successfully secured R$ 7 million in a seed funding round to advance its AI agent management platform. The investment was led by Honey Island by 4UM, with participation from Airborne Ventures and STAMINA Ventures. Founded by the entrepreneurial team behind LinkAPI, the company aims to streamline the integration and governance of artificial intelligence within large corporations.

A Management Layer for the Digital Workforce

Runflow provides a comprehensive platform for creating, operating, and managing corporate AI agents, effectively serving as an "HR for AI". The system allows businesses to define roles, permissions, performance metrics, and governance policies for their digital employees. This ensures that each AI agent operates securely and aligns with specific business objectives, moving beyond simple AI models to fully integrated digital workers.

Delivering Measurable Client Impact

The platform is already demonstrating significant returns for its enterprise clients, who typically have revenues exceeding R$ 500 million. For instance, automotive dealer Grupo Osten reduced a dedicated team from seven people to just one while increasing its lead-to-visit conversion rate by 35%. Similarly, PX Ativos Judiciais automated a complex process, cutting the required team from fifteen employees to three and doubling its commercial conversion rate.

Further success stories include internet provider Vero Internet, which saved over R$ 2 million in overtime expenses through Runflow's automation. The company's rapid traction is reflected in its financial growth, projecting an annual recurring revenue of R$ 12 million by year-end. With an average return on investment of just three months, the platform offers a compelling value proposition for large-scale operations.

Fueling Expansion and Product Development

The newly acquired R$ 7 million will be strategically allocated to accelerate product development and expand key teams. Runflow plans to grow its engineering and go-to-market divisions, with a specific focus on hiring Forward Deployed Engineers. These specialists will help clients identify automation opportunities and ensure seamless implementation and integration of AI agents into their core systems.

Hida Lambros, a partner at lead investor Honey Island Capital, emphasized the growing market need for sophisticated AI orchestration. He noted that as companies adopt integrated AI ecosystems, a governance layer like Runflow's becomes critical for secure and scalable operations. Lambros also praised the founders' proven track record and deep market understanding, which were key factors in the investment decision.

With this new capital and a clear vision, Runflow is well-positioned to lead the charge in enterprise AI adoption in Brazil. The company's focus on governance, integration, and measurable results addresses a critical gap in the market for large corporations. The successful track record of its founders, Edmee Moreira, Danrley Morais, and Mariana Pastorelli, provides a strong foundation for future growth and innovation.
