Juicebox, an AI-native recruiting platform, has opened its first international office in London's Soho neighborhood to serve the United Kingdom and the broader EMEA region. The company already serves more than 1,000 customers across EMEA and plans to grow its London team to more than 50 employees within the next year. The new office will act as the company's hub for UK and EMEA operations, supporting go-to-market activity, customer success, and other local functions.

Hiring Pressures Across the UK and Europe

Companies across the UK and Europe are currently navigating two opposing pressures in the competition for technical talent. Demand for highly sought-after technology professionals remains intense, particularly among fast-growing firms, while generative AI has made it easier for candidates to tailor resumes and apply to roles at scale. The resulting increase in applications is weakening traditional hiring signals and leaving recruiting teams with more volume but not necessarily better candidates.

A More Proactive Model of Recruiting

Rather than relying on inbound applications, employers are bringing an executive search approach to a much broader range of roles. Talent teams are proactively identifying and engaging the people they want to hire instead of waiting for the right candidates to apply. David Paffenholz, co-founder and CEO of Juicebox, said the next era of recruiting will look more like executive search for every critical role within a business.

AI Search, Sourcing, and Engagement

Juicebox gives recruiting teams an AI-native way to search, source, and engage talent. Recruiters can describe exactly what they are looking for in natural language, including nuanced combinations of skills, experience, and background, and then search across a comprehensive talent graph. Juicebox's AI agents incorporate context from a company's hiring systems, past decisions, and recruiter feedback to generate stronger candidate pipelines and personalized outreach.

Customer Traction in London

London-based tax technology company Fonoa has grown from 115 employees in October 2025 to more than 260 today with help from Juicebox. Adam Lawrence, global GTM talent lead at Fonoa, said the platform has become his default search tool because it consistently surfaces strong candidates he has not seen elsewhere. He described Juicebox agents as being like a dedicated sourcer, giving the team access to a wider talent pool without lowering the quality bar.

For London-based procurement orchestration platform Omnea, outbound recruiting has become especially important when competing for engineering talent. Joshua Voisey, head of talent at Omnea, said less than 20% of the company's hires over the last year have come through inbound applications. With Juicebox, Omnea can find more specific profiles and build personalized outreach at scale, with agents generating 10 to 15 engineering calls a week and cutting recruiters' sourcing workload in half.

Funding and International Momentum

Juicebox's growth in EMEA reflects broader momentum for the company. It raised an $80 million Series B at an $850 million valuation in March 2026, bringing its total funding to $116 million. The company was recently named to Forbes' 2026 Next Billion-Dollar Startups list, and customers including Cursor, Lovable, Ramp, Reddit, Notion, and Samsara use Juicebox to build candidate pipelines based on quality rather than application volume.

Janet Coyle CBE, Managing Director of Grow London at London & Partners, said London has always attracted talent but employers now struggle to find the right candidates amid application volume. She said Juicebox is helping solve that problem through its AI recruitment platform. Grow London supported the expansion and expects the office to help London businesses find talent more efficiently.

The opening of Juicebox's London office signals a meaningful step in its international expansion and the changing nature of recruiting across the UK and Europe. With a growing regional customer base, plans for more than 50 employees, and significant venture backing, Juicebox is positioning itself as a central player in AI-driven talent acquisition. As companies shift toward proactive, quality-focused hiring, the London hub will support broader adoption of AI-native recruiting tools throughout EMEA.
