Implicity, a global leader in AI driven cardiac remote monitoring, has secured a €35 million growth funding round led by IRIS and Five Arrows, the alternative assets arm of Rothschild & Co. The capital will support the expansion of its United States commercial operations, strengthen its position across Europe, and advance research and development in predictive and diagnostic AI algorithms. The announcement marks a significant step in the company's effort to help clinicians act on cardiac data at scale.
A unified platform for complex cardiac data
Remote patient monitoring has become the standard of care in cardiology, yet care teams face growing volumes of data from cardiac implantable electronic devices and heart failure monitoring. Navigating multiple systems and triaging alerts consumes time that clinicians could otherwise devote to direct patient care. Implicity addresses this challenge with a universal, AI driven platform that aggregates, normalizes, and analyzes data across the full continuum of care, regardless of device manufacturer.
Clinical results and market adoption
Implicity has built deep clinical credibility through CE and FDA cleared AI algorithms and extensive real world evidence. The company reports that its technology has contributed to a 26 percent reduction in mortality and a 4 percent reduction in hospitalization. The platform is used daily at more than 250 medical centers representing over 120,000 monitored patients, including major French public hospital networks and leading academic health systems in the United States.
Investment details and strategic focus
The funding round was led by IRIS, a growth investor with offices in Paris, Berlin, and Munich, alongside Five Arrows from Rothschild & Co. Since 2016, Implicity has now raised approximately $69 million in total, including a $23 million Series A announced in April 2022 with Crédit Mutuel Innovation and Bpifrance. The company deliberately avoided giving up a majority stake and selected investors with experience helping European companies scale in the United States.
Expansion plans and AI development
Implicity intends to use the funding primarily to scale its commercial footprint and operations in the United States, where it has been present in Cambridge, Massachusetts since 2022. It will also support expansion in Germany and provide resources for potential acquisitions of smaller companies. Additional investment will fund next generation heart failure prediction algorithms designed to optimize care for remotely monitored cardiac patients.
Executive perspectives
Dr Arnaud Rosier, electrophysiologist, CEO and co-founder of Implicity, said he became a physician to treat patients rather than manage data. He added that the funding allows care teams to catch important information through the noise and deliver the best possible care at scale. Nicolas Herschtel of IRIS and François-Xavier Lehman of Five Arrows highlighted the company's trusted position with complex health systems and its combination of clinical superiority, regulatory credibility, and patient impact.
The global remote cardiac monitoring market, valued at around $4.1 billion in 2024, is projected to reach $12 billion by 2034, according to figures cited by the company. Implicity is positioning its platform as a consolidator in a fragmented market where clinicians need fewer administrative burdens and faster, more accurate insights. The new funding strengthens Implicity's ability to expand internationally while continuing to develop AI tools that support cardiology teams and improve patient outcomes.
