Cyera has secured a $400 million extension from Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives to its Series G round, originally led by Evolution Equity. The funding will accelerate the company's mission to build a unified platform that governs access for every human, machine, and AI agent across the enterprise. The announcement reflects rising enterprise demand for stronger controls as autonomous AI agents become more central to business operations.

Securing the Agentic Enterprise

AI agents are quickly becoming the new enterprise workforce, promising significant gains in productivity, speed, and innovation. Unlike traditional software, these agents reason, use identities, call tools, access sensitive information, and take action autonomously at machine speed. Cyera argues that existing security architectures were built for people and applications, not for millions of autonomous actors, making agents one of the fastest-growing security risks enterprises face.

Funding and Strategic Expansion

The $400 million extension follows the Series G investment led by Evolution Equity and brings Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives into the funding group. The new capital will support continued development of Cyera's AI security product roadmap. It will also fuel deeper expansion in the federal market and continued international growth across EMEA and APAC, where demand for agent oversight is rising.

A Unified Data and Identity Platform

Cyera has secured the data layer since its founding and extended that control to AI agents this year. Products such as Agent Guardian and Cyera Endpoint provide visibility and accountability across AI agents, tracking prompts, responses, tool calls, database queries, and actions in between. The acquisition of Oasis Security brings that visibility together with non-human identity management in a single system, connecting sensitive data with who or what can actually reach it.

Executive Perspectives

Yotam Segev, cofounder and CEO of Cyera, said global enterprises need to trust what AI agents can see and do before they can scale them. He noted that AI infrastructure is moving faster than the security architecture around it. The investment accelerates Cyera's work to bring data and identity together, so enterprises can give agents access with confidence and keep that access aligned with business intent.

Investor Commentary

Irit Kahan, Managing Director within Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, said securing AI will be one of the defining categories in enterprise technology over the next decade. Kahan added that Cyera was the first to bring data and identity together and that the gap between what agents are trusted to do and what they can reach is becoming increasingly dangerous. She cited the technology, customer traction, and execution as reasons Cyera can become the platform enterprises rely on.

Market Momentum

Cyera is building what it calls the trust layer powering enterprise AI transformation. Enterprises like Paramount, Chipotle, and Valvoline use its platform to control what data their AI can reach and govern what happens next. The company is valued at over $12 billion and backed by Accel, Blackstone, Cyberstarts, Georgian, Lightspeed, and Sequoia.

The $400 million investment signals strong investor conviction in the need for unified data and identity security as AI agents multiply. Cyera's approach addresses a critical gap between what autonomous agents are trusted to do and what they can actually access. As the agentic enterprise expands, the company aims to provide the control layer that allows organizations to scale AI with confidence.
